10 Students receive Noble Educational Fund Scholarships

ARDMORE, Okla. — The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation announced the 2020 recipients of the Noble Educational Fund Scholarships, awarding $200,000 in scholarships to 10 southern Oklahoma students.

The Noble Educational Fund Scholarship Program is a merit-based, competitive scholarship program sponsored by The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation for eligible dependents of full-time employees of Noble entities. The scholarship is open to students seeking an undergraduate education at institutions of higher learning or post-high-school training at vocational technical training institutions.

The 2020 Noble Educational Fund Scholarship recipients are:

  • Madison Andrews, the child of Zachary Andrews with Noble Energy Inc. Madison will be a freshman at University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Russell Beard, the child of Joseph Beard with Noble Research Institute LLC. Russell will be a freshman at Connors State University, majoring in Pre-Medicine.
  • Aidan Bersche, the child of Michael Pausche with Noble Energy Inc. Aidan will be a freshman at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Chemical Engineering.
  • Kendall Hays, the child of Amy Hays with Noble Research Institute LLC. Kendall will be a freshman at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Natural Resources and Management.
  • Rachel Hutto, the child of Charles Hutto with Noble Energy Inc. Rachel will be a freshman at Texas A&M University, majoring in Forensic and Investigative Science.
  • Sarah Kong, the child of Fanchen Kong with Noble Energy Inc. Sarah will be a sophomore at Rice University, majoring in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
  • Jolie Ma, the child of Xuefeng Ma with Noble Research Institute LLC. Jolie will be a freshman at The University of Texas, majoring in Economic statistics.
  • Jacob Parker, the child of James Parker with Noble Energy Inc. Jacob will be a freshman at Texas A&M University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Yumi Yoshiyasu, the child of Noriaki Yoshiyasu with Noble Energy Inc. Yumi will be a freshman at Dartmouth College, majoring in Cognitive Science.
  • Rex Yusri, the child of Yusri Yusri with Noble Energy Inc. Rex will be a sophomore at Texas A&M University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
