6 Students Receive Noble Educational Fund Scholarships

The Noble Educational Fund Scholarship Program is sponsored by The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation for eligible dependents of full-time employees of Noble entities.

The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation announced the 2022 recipients of the Noble Educational Fund Scholarships, awarding $120,000 in scholarships to students.

The Noble Educational Fund Scholarship Program is a merit-based, competitive scholarship program sponsored by The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation for eligible dependents of full-time employees of Noble entities. The scholarship is open to students seeking an undergraduate education at institutions of higher learning or post-high school training at vocational technical training institutions. Students may apply as high school seniors or at any point during their postsecondary education.

The 2022 Noble Educational Fund Scholarship recipients are:

  • Jaylynn Connor, child of Corey Connor with Noble Corporation. Jaylynn will be a freshman at Jones County Community College, majoring in communications and political science.
  • Ava Ward, child of Lisa Ward with Noble Corporation. Ava is undecided on a university, but plans to major in engineering and law.
  • Madison Harris, child of Jeff Atkinson with Noble Research Institute LLC. Masidon will be a junior at Murray State College, majoring in nursing.
  • Payton McKerchie, child of Eric Mckerchie with Noble Corporation. Payton will be a junior at the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in radiology.
  • Bradford Gann, child of John Gann with Noble Corporation. Bradford will be a senior at the University of Texas, majoring in physics and astronomy.
  • Mallory Cockrell, child of James Cockrell with Noble Corporation. Mallory will be a junior at the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in speech language pathology.

The scholarship amount is $2,500 per semester ($5,000 per academic year) for up to four years, totaling up to $20,000 over the course of a student's undergraduate career. The cumulative amount varies, depending upon the student's classification when awarded the scholarship.
