The Sam Noble Scholarship Program supports students from southern Oklahoma as they strive toward achieving an associate degree in technology, or bachelor’s and graduate degrees in numerous agriculture-related fields.
Sam Noble Scholarship recipients pursuing a future in agriculture can study subjects ranging from communications and economics to agribusiness and biosystems agricultural engineering. For recipients focused on technology certifications or degrees, available fields extend across the full spectrum of vocations, including computer information systems, photography, high-voltage electricity and more.
Students at any classification level – from incoming freshmen to graduate students – may apply from Jan. 1 to March 1. All materials must be submitted through the online application process.
Students residing within one of 15 south central and southeastern Oklahoma counties are eligible.
Students from other areas of the state or outside of Oklahoma are not eligible to apply.
Eligible institutions for the agricultural scholarship include any college or university that offers a bachelor of science or master of science degree in an agricultural related discipline.
The agricultural scholarship is $3,000 per semester for undergraduates, and $3,600 per semester for gradutate students.
Eligible institutions for the technology scholarship include Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology – Okmulgee or Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City.
The technology scholarship is $2,190 per semester or $1,460 per trimester depending on degree plan.
